Happy V-Day!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day this year. I know like many of us, we were just excited to get out of the house after being iced in for over three days. However, this year like last year, we kept it simple and had a delicious dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant. We usually prefer a casual setting and delicious margaritas over a set menu. After dinner we came back and I made my mom's Monkey Bread recipe but in a heart version.

See recipe below:

{Heart Bundt Cake}

- 2 rolls Pillsbury Biscuit Grands
-3/4 tsp cinnamon
-3/4 cup granulated sugar

1. Cut biscuits into bit size pieces
2. Roll each piece in sugar/ cinnamon mixture
3. Sprinkle a few chopped nuts in the bottom of the pan
4. Place each piece into a greased bundt pan
5. Sprinkle a few chopped nuts in between layers.

1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup melted butter
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

1. Combine sugars, water, and melted butter

2. Pour over top of biscuits in bundt pan & sprinkle remaining nuts on top

3. Bake a 350 degress for 1/2 hour

{ 4. Enjoy it!}

{ Addie enjoying the view & wishing she was able to have a little dessert}
