Rhodes, Greece

 A place where they worship the sun god because it is sunny 300 days a year. We docked in Rhodes, Greece, a medieval city that was taken over by the crusaders.
 However, we traveled to Lindos where we saw the acropolis of Lindos and climbed over 200 steps to reach the top-and felt as though we were on the sun. By far the hottest day on the trip.
Rhodes was home to one of the 7 ancient wonders of the world, which fell in an earthquake and sat on the ground for seven centuries before the Muslims came and cut up the statue and sold it for scraps. The statue was 10 stories high.
{This is what they say it looked like}

{The country of Greece is known for its use of donkeys for transportation}

Afterwards, we drove to a pottery maker where we watched him make one through the same process that his great, great grandfather had done, and we bought a piece ourselves.
